In the Laundry Room

My sixteen-year-old daughter gets the credit for this idea. I keep dry erase markers handy in the laundry room. When something goes in the washer that shouldn't be dried in the dryer or needs to be checked after it's washed (for stains, for instance), I write a note to myself on the washer lid.

If I wasn't quite so cheap frugal, I'd buy a magnetic dry erase board to go on the lid. But a few colorful smears don't bother me much.
